JAMES K. CALLAHAN
Project Lighthouse's Director of Education
James was awarded the prestiguous Teacher of the Year award in 2001 for the school system in Foxborough, Massachusetts. He has taught in Bogatá, Columbia, in the Boston Public Schools, and in Foxborough. He received his Ed. M. from Harvard University, and his M.A. in Sociology from Boston College. He created and implemented an interdisciplinary approach to teaching, combining history, with music, language arts, and geography.
He has been instrumental in guiding and developing our educational endeavors. He was, and continues, to be a tremedous asset for our organization regarding our organization' educational efforts, and improvement of the lives of those we serve.
